It’s All Action at Junction Street Plaza |
Construction
continues at Junction Street Plaza, an exciting new youth-oriented
urban park under the M4 at Granville. The large custom pre-cast concrete
culverts, some weighing up to 30 tonnes, are now on-site, forming the
parkour course and social spaces for the community to enjoy early 2025. |

Hunts Creek Bridge Update |
Major works on Hunts Creek Bridge are set to begin on 20 January 2025,
with nightworks, weekend works, and road closures planned for culvert
replacement and bridge reconstruction. The project is expected to
continue until March 2026. |

Parramatta River Drainage Project |
Council
has completed a major clean-up of the Parramatta River, draining
sections between the Marsden and Charles Street weirs to remove debris
and improve river health. This important project, carried out every few
years, recently captured the attention of the community and Channel 9
News. |

Parents and carers within the City of Parramatta can have their child’s car restraint fitted or checked for free on Thursday, 16 January 2025 by an authorised professional. Bookings open 19 December. |
