Epping Aquatic Centre closes for revamp |
The
Epping Aquatic Centre will close at the end the swimming carnival
season in April to undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation. The key
changes include improvements to the outdoor 50m pool, brand new 20m
indoor pool and upgrades to the existing family waterplay area. |

Arthur Philip Park official opening |
City of Parramatta will mark the completion of upgrades to Arthur Philip Park with a plaque unveiling and movie night on Friday 19 April. The improvements include a new inclusive and accessible playground, new picnic and barbecue area and additional tree planting. |

Park in Westmead now boasts a safe and scenic pedestrian and cycleway
connection. This new addition creates a place for relaxing, recreation,
fitness and enjoying the natural wetlands. Come along and enjoy free

Council launches biological survey of waterways |
City
of Parramatta is about to be the first Council in NSW to undertake
environmental DNA (eDNA) – a forensic investigation of our waterways. It
could identify hundreds of species and help shape the City’s
environmental management programs including water health and
biodiversity. |

Parramatta’s
iconic PHIVE building has achieved a 6-Star Green Star rating, the
highest sustainability rating, representing world leadership in building
design and construction. Giant louvres, solar collectors, water
harvesting and innovative roofing panels are just some of its green

Parramatta Eels: Local business promotion opportunity |
