Council is committed to providing opportunities for everyone in the community to participate and ‘have a say’ on current projects:-

  • Community Engagement Strategy – How can Council make it easier for you to participate and have your say? Submissions close 5pm, Monday 24 June.
  • Proposed pedestrian and cycling corridor for North Parramatta – Submissions close, 5pm, Tuesday 25 June.

Hunts Creek bridge signage

Hunts Creek Bridge commencement update

Council is working with Transport for NSW to look for ways to reduce the impact the Hunts Creek Bridge replacement project will have on the community. Previously scheduled to start in May, it is unlikely work on this very complex project will begin before July/August.

Riverside Reimagined

The highly anticipated $188 million Riverside Theatres winning design has been revealed. Construction will start late 2025 with doors to the new multi-million performing arts facility set to open in 2028.
