Parramatta Light Rail is being tested |
Road
conditions have changed and trams can’t stop quickly or easily. If
you’re walking, riding or driving near the light rail between Westmead
and Carlingford (including the Parramatta CBD), always stop, listen and
look around. |
Hunts Creek Bridge traffic changes |
Major
construction will soon begin on North Rocks Road, adjacent to the
Woolworths carpark driveway in North Parramatta. The 12-month project to
build a new Hunts Creek Bridge is necessary to ensure the safety of our
community. |

Have your say on new laneway name |
Residents
can help choose the name of a laneway linking Phillip Street and the
Elizabeth Street pedestrian bridge and river foreshore. Three names have
been been chosen in consultation with Dharug knowledge-holders, vote
for your favourite before 11 March. |

Celebrate Seniors Festival |

throughout Seniors Festival. It is a great opportunity to meet new
people, discover programs and services to help improve quality of life
and learn new skills. |

this free information session, you will find out more about the three
tiers of government and Australia’s legal system and laws. This is the
first in a series of sessions to held in the community beginning with
Epping. |

From
Mums and Bubs to Seniors, Active Parramatta Van has free health and
fitness programs available for anyone at any age. Plenty of spots are
still available, register your interest now. |

Autumn
is the perfect time to join the Bushcare volunteer group as they
are always in need of an extra pair of hands to help with planting
season. All tools and training are provided by Council, simply sign-up
and turn up on the day. |
Promoting Parramatta’s vibrant food scene |
Are
you a local food business interested in potentially reaching thousands
of new customers? If you're comfortable in front of the camera and happy
to be filmed, you could star in Council's next marketing campaign to
promote the City's delicious food experiences. Expressions of interest
close Friday 8 March. |
Parramatta Eels: Local business promotion opportunity |
Don’t
miss the unique opportunity for Council to promote your business at the
upcoming Parramatta Eels NRL season. As part of our three-year
partnership with the Parramatta Eels, City of Parramatta Council will be
activating at CommBank Stadium on game days. We will be driving game
day visitors to visit local businesses before and after the games at the
activation and across our marketing channels. |
