NSW  planning code: -huge changes - summary

The State Government is proposing massive changes to urban development and planning permissions aimed at increasing housing supply.

Hornsby Centre would be immediately impacted and current High Rise development plans taken away from Council and managed directly by State Government.

31 Suburbs with stations have also been named.  Pennant Hills is not in the first wave, but it would be strange if it was not included before long.

The Trust is not anti-development but has concerns that the legislation is too rushed and there is not enough consideration about livability and amenity for residents after the developers have long gone.
