Talk on ectomycorrhizal fungi diversity in Ku-ring-gai Chase
St Andrews Uniting Church, corner of Vernon Street and Chisholm Street, Turramurra
Ectomycorrhizal
fungi keep forests healthy by enhancing the trees’ use of water and
providing them with soil minerals. Margarita Gil-Fernández, winner of
our research grant in 2023, has been studying the ectomycorrhizal fungi
community diversity in small mammal scats and soil samples in
Ku-ring-gai Chase and urban reserves. Come and hear her talk about her
main findings! More info — no need to book.
