of Parramatta proudly supports International Women’s Day! Take part in a

PAC goes green as it gets closer to completion |
As
construction at the Parramatta Aquatic Centre (PAC) continues to
progress, three 15 metre Flame Bottletrees have been planted on the
outdoor lawn to provide shade during summer and to let sun through in
winter. |
Alfred Street Bridge starts to take shape |
Alfred
Street Bridge is starting to take shape enabling a new river crossing
between James Ruse Drive and GasWorks bridge. The 200m long bridge
will be a key element within a network of planned pedestrian and
cyclist improvements across our City.
Please note that due to construction, buses will replace ferries until Thursday, 30 March. |
Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Tree Planting |
As
part of commemorative event programs honouring her Majesty, Queen
Elizabeth II, large Eucalypt trees now line the path along the exercise
area at Upjohn Park in Rydalmere. Find out more |

Visit the revamped Experiment Farm Reserve |
Come
and visit the revamped Experiment Farm Reserve at Harris Park. A
double-width footpath has been built along the western end of the nature
strip, along with new turf, garden beds and a solar-powered irrigation

NSW Supreme Court Chief Justice attends Parramatta Law Event
The
Parramatta Legal & Justice Coalition, which is advocating for an
expanded legal and justice precinct in Parramatta, was pleased to
welcome the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of NSW to the recent Law
