Get
ready for adventure as you explore the brand new Alfred Street Bridge,
spanning the picturesque Parramatta River between James Ruse Drive and
Gasworks Bridge. Come along for a walk or ride and experience more than

Feedback on a new outdoor pump track adventure space |
Sydney
Olympic Park is in the design stage for a new pump track - a circuit of
rollers with banked turns which generate momentum through up and down
movements, instead of by pedalling or pushing. Learn more and have your

Residents
are invited to have their say in our annual Community Satisfaction
Survey. Each year we ask our community how satisfied they are with our
services, facilities and overall performance. Learn more and have your

Parramatta Ligth Rail Stage 2 Update |
Transport
for NSW consulted with the community and local residents during August
and September this year on key project amendments, engaging with more
than 600 people. The formal Response to the Submissions and
Amendment Report is now available to view on the NSW Planning Portal and
is another step towards obtaining project planning approval. |

Help
us celebrate these amazing individuals or groups in our community by
nominating them for a Citizen of the Year Award. Nominate now for a

is partnering with local services to run a series of events throughout
November – December to commemorate the international campaign for '16
Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence'. Make it your business
to get involved and say NO to violence against women and children in our
community. |

Benefit
from the wide range of free community activities that promote
healthy lifestyles across all age groups including early development,
children, youth, adults and better ageing (over 55s). Registrations are
still open with classes running until Friday 8 December. |

What's on at Parramatta Libraries |
Participate
in the great community workshops and events happening this month at
Parramatta Libraries including a special AUSLAN interpreted talk with
author Richard Glover; 3D modelling and printing sessions supporting
White Ribbon Day; and Tech Savvy Seniors workshops covering a range of
topics in English, Korean and Mandarin. |

Get active with the Australia Junior Sport Program |
It
is not too late for 4-12 year olds to join coaches for sports like
soccer, cricket, basketball, hockey, touch football, AFL, Netball and
Volleyball in Term 4. The program runs until 8 December at Sir
Mitchell Reserve. Active kids vouchers are accepted. |
