Your COVID-19 update In response to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, City of Parramatta is reopening Epping Aquatic Centre and library click-and-collect in line with the NSW Government’s easing of restrictions. These services are registered as COVID Safe facilities with safety measures in place to keep our community and staff safe. In this email you will find the latest information on the current situation. Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for updates on Council’s response to COVID-19 and visit NSW Health’s COVID-19 website for the latest health information. Please see below a snapshot of what services are currently available. POOLS Epping Aquatic Centre reopened on Monday 27 September. Fitness Passport is not currently accepted. Macarthur Girls High School Pool is currently closed. Council is in discussion with the NSW Department of Education for the safe reopening of this facility. WATER PLAY PARKS Council is preparing to reopen water play parks by early October, once water quality testing has been completed and a COVID-19 safety plan has been put in place. This includes Ollie Webb Reserve in Parramatta, James Ruse Reserve in Harris Park, and Phillip Ruddock Water Playground in Dundas Valley. LIBRARIES Carlingford, Constitution Hill, Dundas, Epping, Ermington, Parramatta and Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library will restart click-and-collect services. TENNIS COURTS Council operated tennis courts continue to remain open and can be booked online. Players must check-in via QR code upon arrival. There are cleaning measures in place for high-frequency touchpoints. EARLY LEARNING CENTRES Child Care services are considered essential and continue to be delivered in person. MEALS ON WHEELS Our Meals on Wheels program continues to be delivered as an essential service. Council has reduced deliveries to twice weekly to minimise contact. COUNCIL MEETINGS Council Meetings will be closed to the public until further notice. A Livestream will still be available online. The next scheduled meeting is Monday 11 October.
